Ebecad
If you're low on dough, you still deserve protection... Here are some easy ways to get great armor with NO MONEY!!! (just a little violence) : 1. Kill Esterdalin, master-at-arms, in the Arena in Vivec, for an almost-complete Ebony set (helmet missing) 2. AFTER you're beaten the game, kill Divaith Fyr for an almost-full daedric set (no helmet, again) 3. Kill the man in the underwater cavern near Ebonheart to get the Lord's Mail. 4. Kill Sorkvild the Raven in his tower near Dagon Fel to get the Masque of Clavicious Vile. 5. The Fists of Ranagulf are in Ilinubi under a cart-thing. 6. Pick the lock in the dresser across from Divaith Fyr to get the Curiass of the Savior's Hide 7. Kill the orc in the very upstairs of Ghorak Manor in Cladera. In one of the crates near him will be an Orcish Curiass, Pauldrins, and something else. 8. Kill the High Boyant Armiger (forget the name) in Ghostgate. She has the Auriel's Shield. ***********UPDATE************** 9. If you should find the Vassir-Dindant Ebony Mine (pm me to find out where), go to the Haunted House in the St. Olms Canton. Pick the level 50 lock to go downstairs and talk to Dram Bero about it. Then pick your Daedric Weapon. 10. The Daedric Faces (excluding god) are found in Ghostgate. 11. **Invisibility needed, if you're not strong**: Go to Ghostgate, to the smith's room. In there there is a full Glass armor set (yes, even helmet). 12. The Dragonbone Curiass is found in Mudan Grotto, in a chest with a 100 lock level. 13. Complete the Temple quests to recieve Ebony Mail.
loveme4whoiam
Thats a nice little list you have there friend, but i notice one small error, not with the list, but the theory behind it. Some of the people you listed are pretty hardfights, and only one (or three if you're a good thief) can be obtained without a fight. If people really are low on money, i doubt they would also have the skills to kill these guys. Still, thats a useful list for those who are too busy (read: lazy) to find them ourselves. Gracias :D
cmac
3. Kill the man in the underwater cavern near Ebonheart to get the Lord's Mail. You need to investigate and kill him in an advanced Legion quest. While killing him early has no impact on the quest result, you still need to go down there anyways. And, most low-level players have no way to open the level 90 lock needed to get into the Imperial Commission. 4. Kill Sorkvild the Raven in his tower near Dagon Fel to get the Masque of Clavicious Vile. Once again, this man has a quest tie. You kill Sorkvild in an Imperial Cult quest. And, once again, while killing him early has no impact on the quest, it's still worth mentioning. 5. The Fists of Ranagulf are in Ilinubi under a cart-thing. To be more specific, they are behind a Sixth House troth in Ilinubi, Soul's Rattle. Pick the lock in the dresser across from Divaith Fyr to get the Curiass of the Savior's Hide One thing: it's a level 100 lock. Few new characters have the ability and resources to do this. Another thing: It's a wardrobe. One thing further: it's in the chamber to the right of Fyr's study. And one more thing: His name is Divalyth. 7. Kill the orc in the very upstairs of Ghorak Manor in Cladera. In one of the crates near him will be an Orcish Curiass, Pauldrins, and something else. This will effectively terminate Boethiah's Quest. You need the Orc upstairs, Duma gro-Lag, to initialize construction of the Shrine of Boethiah. If you kill him, you can't make the statue, and therefor can't get Goldrband. The crate near Duma contains an Orcish cuirass, pauldrons, and greaves.

cmac
Actually, there is an underwater door leading into these cavern's outside of Ebonheart (I forget exactly where; IIRC it's south of the docks) that's unlocked.Right. You may have noticed that I said to get into the Imperial Commission. This denotes that they are already inside the cave, having previously discovered the underwater entrance. The top-side door to the Commission is unlocked- the Commission is a public place. It's the door into the tomb-room with the secret door that is locked 90, with two Duke's Guards. Ahnassi tips the PC off as to these caverns when she tells the PC about Elvul's Black Blindfold. Although it is not necessary to use the caves to get into the room with the Blindfold, the information is useful nonetheless. EDIT: Corrections to Ebecad's Update: 9. If you should find the Vassir-Dindant Ebony Mine (pm me to find out where), go to the Haunted House in the St. Olms Canton. Pick the level 50 lock to go downstairs and talk to Dram Bero about it. Then pick your Daedric Weapon. Note that you can also extract 2000 drakes from Hlaalu Councilor Velanda Omani. Dram bero offers a rich selection of a Daedric spear, wakizashi, battleaxe, longbow, katana, or staff. All other councilors either have no jurisdiction in the Balmora region or promise riches and never deliver. 10. The Daedric Faces (excluding god) are found in Ghostgate. The Face of Inspiration is found on Galdal Omayn, in Ghostgate, Tower of Dusk. The Face of Terror is found on Enar Dralor, in Ghostgate, Tower of Dusk, Lower Level. 11. **Invisibility needed, if you're not strong**: Go to Ghostgate, to the smith's room. In there there is a full Glass armor set (yes, even helmet). The "smith's room" can be clarified to Ghostgate, Tower of Dusk Lower Level. The smith is Dronos Llervu, and he is in possession of glass bracers, a helm, both pauldrons, a longsword, boots, a roundshield, and a crate containing 3 random glass armour pieces. Note that there also several Buoyant Armigers with nearly full suits of glass armour in Ghostgate. However, discretion is advised, as two are used in quests. One is elementary in a legion quest, and another in a Redoran quest. A Telvanni quest requires you to kill a third for a weapon. 12. The Dragonbone Curiass is found in Mudan Grotto, in a chest with a 100 lock level. To be exact, it's found in a Dwemer closet in Mudan, Central Vault. A key to the a table with a key to the Vault is found on the corpse of Peke Utchoo in the Right Tower. 13. Complete the Temple quests to recieve Ebony Mail. A final quest from Tholer Saryoni is to retrieve the Ebony Mail at Mt. Assarnibibi, the Birthplace of Almalexia, where the 99 lovers of Beothiah oversaw Her birth. Activate the shrine to be tested and receive the Mail.

PierreBeauregard
There are other *easier* ways to get nice armor. You can steal indoril boots and guantlets (and perhaps more) from the ordinator barracks in Vivec. Nobody will be looking. Also, if you choose to investigate the murders of two ordinators, you will get more indoril armor if you complete the quest (which really isn't that hard to complete). There's umbra near suran, who's easy to kill if you're a good at conjuration or fighting. Full orcish armor and a nifty sword. If you go to koal cave and donate some wax, you get some nice armor. By the way, shouldn't this be moved to spoilers?
