baybrony9514
I've tried reinstalling the game thrice (Using steam), and I attempted to validate the game files countless times. Steam says that all the files are there every time I try to validate it, and reinstalling hasn't helped either. Is there something that I'm missing? Did I do something that messed up the files, or is this an error on steams end? I don't understand how I can download a game and have it be short a file. Mod manager had no issue running with fallout 3 while I was installing it. I installed a lot of mods while it was installing for the third time. But when I try to open it once the install is finished, it gives me the error message that there's a file missing. I considered just not bothering with the issue, and modding manually, but I got to many crashes and issues that way Any help is greatly appreciated, i'm at a loss here

M48A5
From the error message it would appear that the files had not completed the download. You should not be trying to add mod files to the game data folder until the download has been completed. You should not be trying to add mod files until the game has been completely installed and you have verified that the game will start and run. You should not be installing the game in "Program Files". From what I have read, there is an option when the game is downloaded that allows you to choose the install location. Also, please see "How to ask for help" and provide the necessary information. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/How_to_ask_for_help
KnightAngleBoi
Shouldn't install Steam nor GoG in Program Files (x86) period, should avoid the other Program Files folder as well.
