Darkieus
Hello! Before I begin I wanted to list that my current video card is the GTX 295 with the latest drivers off the main Nvidia website (300 beta), but this problem has persisted through other driver versions too (at least the most recent). For some strange reason, besides the obviously broken green water bug, the 'lighting' on the walls of interior cells (and very very rarely outside) seems to 'flicker' or 'turn off' when coming close in specific areas of buildings. In one instance, a section of the wall will be balanced and lit, and in the next, part of it will have no lighting whatsoever, as if part of the textures suddenly became incapable of being lit up. Sometimes textures can turn almost pitch black. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there any way to fix it? The problem persists regardles of whether or not using SLI mode. --I should note that this happens regardless of any mods installed.--
Darkieus
Bumping this, as I still haven't found a solution!
branpurn
I'm having the same problem. Did you manage to fix this?
EvilDeadAsh34
It's a bug. If there are too many shadow casting lights in one area or light sources (in general) that are too close to each other they will cancel each other out. That's why the lights keep blinking out and coming back on. It also depends on the viewing angle which is why you could rotate the camera and it will pop back "on". Bottom line is, unless you're going to edit the light sources with the CK there's not much that can be done about it.

I don't know what caused it, maybe a recent patch or perhaps the latest Nvidia drivers... so strange Bethesda would let something fly like this if this is how it is in everyone's game. Kaiylar
This has been happening to me too. I thought it might be to do with a mod i have called CLARALUX, which affects lights. But other people have it too, so i don't think it's to do with that mod.
m4x1u
Hi, I'm experiencing the same thing. Has there been a fix for this? The only light mods i'm using are RLO and CoT but i've installed them "properly" per instructions given on the sites. I'm not aware of having any other light mods.
