Yes, creating a second account will most certainly result in the new one getting banned, and in any appeal of the original ban being denied. As you have just discovered. :verymad:

A little info for those who see no evil in multiple accounts for the same person. These accounts are most often used either as throw away accounts - used to flame or troll without putting their main account in jeopardy. Or, sock puppet accounts used to uprate their own or a friend's mods & comments or downrate someone elses. :verymad:

 

After dealing with too many of these type we just ban all alt accounts AND the main when we find them as a preemptive measure to cut down on habitual trolls who think they can just make another account to do their trolling. And, multiple accounts are specifically forbidden in the TOS as an instant ban offense.

 

And for those who think creating new accounts is an easy way around a ban - we can ban with 2 clicks. How long does it take you to create each new account? :whistling:
