Nah, he's in every single thread in this section of the forums, he loves Vortex so much, he's made himself into a one-man crusade for it.

 

Can't post any feedback without having to wade through a bunch of the same people jumping in and defending Vortex from the feedback people are trying to give.

It drags out every thread out longer than it needs to be, and makes people have to wade through a bunch of unnecessary posts to get to the actual solutions and feedback between the person leaving the feedback, and the Vortex developer.

 

 

Actually, I try to help people wherever possible, if they have issues with the tool. Seeing that as "defending" is actually a bit sad. It also seems like you're reading quite selectively.

 

Btw, in what way did your postings help anyone?

 

 

 

I really do appreciate people like Grestorn who is always providing help to whoever is asking for a feedback and I am not a kiss-ass person but I do recognize and appreciate when somebody deserve a recognition. He and Tannin have helped me more than anybody else in the forum to understand Vortex and I know that they will continue doing so and not only with me but whoever is asking for help and it is very nice that Grestorn is around in every single thread helping out while others, whose probably know a lot as he does, stay quiet keeping their knowledge for themselves instead helping people like me ( for example ) that I am not that knowledgable yet.

 

@ Grestorn ... hey bro, continue doing what you are doing and do not pay attention to negative comments about what you have been doing.

 

As Tanning well said, negative comments feedback are welcome but they should not be against people especially when they have demonstrated their willingness to help others.

 

Yesterday I posted a couple of screenshots in relation to how to update a mod in Vortex with the only intention to help newbies. If I know something, I will share it to make it easier to others. I say this not for anyone to give me a pad in my back but just to let know whoever is criticizing what Grestorn has done, that this is what we should do to help each other.

the site seems to be buggy (can't upload since the new layout, can't download files from update or old sections on file page, main menu is botched), the old NMM was, and now you're telling me Vortex is too ?
