Memorexia Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I cant play New Vegas for more the n 20 mins at a time because it crashes! Even with no mods it dose the same thing Please help me. kschang77 Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 If it crashes with NO mods, it's a HARDWARE problem. In general, this means either a video card that's overheating, or a CPU and/or memory that's overheating / stressed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

formalrevya Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 If you disabled all mods it might be some leftover files having bad reactions in game. If you're really experiencing a lot of CTD you might want to try a clean install. Other than that GopherVids did a video on how to increase game stability that you might want to check out. If you're using a desktop, I'd suggest opening it up and removing every spec of dust from that bad boy. Solved my problem. As for a laptop, overheating is the most common issue.
