Virde
Somehow when I first installed Skyrim SE and downloaded a armor replacer mod the files got baked into the bsa file. Ever since then I've been unable to remove them (Even after deleting said .bsa and redownloading it from Steam, the replacer versions of the files are in there). I've tried using loose file replacers, but they aren't working (Unless an ESP is making them work). Worst yet, the replacer I used isn't for the body type I use now and it makes people look very awkward clothed compared to nude for specific armor sets I've been unable to replace (Specifically Imperial Armors, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood). Does anyone know a way for me to get Steam to install the original file without mesh replacers baked into it? I know steam does a weird thing and sometimes bakes replacer files into it when you verify cache integrity. Is there a specific step I need to take to make it do the original install without completely uninstalling and reinstalling Skyrim? Edit: Nevermind, I think I found the solution from experimenting.
