Animal No Longer Aggressive towards Me

I started noticing it after I completed the companions quest line and cure myself or being a werewolf. Wolfs would snarl at me if i approached and might even attack me once but then they would just stop attacking and walk around. Same with Sabre cats and bears, and even if I attacked them they would ignore me. They still attack other NPC (although not ones grouped with me).

Although i'm running a number of mods, I have not changed any of them and it was working fine before

Did you climb the stairs to High Hrothgar and read all the tablets? Doing so will give you the "Voice of the Sky" effect for 24 hours, during which animals will neither attack you nor flee from you.

Nope, i ignored reading them, Also the the animals will flee from me and, wolf will attack me if i walk right up to them sometimes. I also started a new game and got the same problem. The first 3 wolves i came across just snarled at me until I walked right up to them although ten they did attack me although the 3rd wolf which was further away than the other didn't join in.

i turned off the 2 mods which might be causing it, SkyTEST Realistic animals and predator and Deadly Dragons (as those are the only 2 I have which I think might change an animals behaviour) but they still acted the same. When coming into LOS of the they do not show up as enemies (red dots) they just snarl at me, if I get really close one will attack me, upon killing it the other will run away and become no hostile, even if I attack it.

I noticed this behavior after installing SkyTEST Realistic Animals and Predators, and this is a known issue with that mod. I understand that the author, etayorius, is looking into this, but as of yesterday I don't think anything had been resolved. Keep in mind that a save game in Skyrim can save parameters left from mods, and these can persist even after the mod has been removed. I don't think anyone has ever come up with a solution to this. I used to use Deadly Dragons, before I had SkyTEST, and noticed no such behavior, so I'm sure that mod isn't the culprit.

Besides, it's a bit refreshing to not have to battle a pack of six wolves every ten minutes, which is what is happening in many places in Skyrim after SkyTEST. Enjoy the quiet before the storms. I do, and I'm not getting rid of SkyTEST. It's doing too many good things to the game to dump it because of a few minor bugs.

Yeah I had this happen with frostbite spiders. I know it's a mod since they don't usually spawn in "the wilds." Every now and again I come across a group of them that just stand there. Usually once I attack one they all start acting normally. It's affected some inside of caves as well but not all of them. Not a big deal to me so I haven't really looked in to it. I think mine's caused by WIS.
