The panther continued on, weaving this way and that through narrow alleyways until it reached the city walls. At that point, it began making its way around the southern edge until at last it found a small break...a section where the wall was crumbling. Bunching its muscles, it ran forward and leaped, soaring over the break - at least twenty feet high - and vanishing on the other side.

Caladus stared at the wall, and saw very few handholds that would probably take his weight. Then he remembered something. Taking a deep breath, he folded his arms, and changed into his Wyvern form. Flapping his wings, he flew up over the wall, and landed on the other side, changing back to human form, he raised an eyebrow at the panther.

Nawen kept walking around staring at the beautiful clothes. It's impossible!

The ranger sighed heavily and continued the search. She noticed a beautiful white gown. It wasn't as expensive as most of the other costumes in the store and it looked really simple too, not like other fancy puffy ball gowns. "Will this one do?" She asked and pointed at the white dress. The noble parties were just as alien to her as wilderness to some people. Nawen had no idea is there some sort of rules that needs to be followed, not that she'd follow them anyway.

Rhaine looked at the dress that Nawen indicated. It was simple, but still beautiful. The white gown would certainly compliment the drow's hair quite well.

"I think it will do just fine, Nawen," the Doomguide replied, "Now you just need to find a mask to match."

----------------------------------------------------------

The panther whirled and launched into a run, plowing up turf as it began to head towards the forest to the southwest.

This was not over.

Caladus sighed, realizing on his feet he would never catch the panther. He changed into one of his bear forms, and ran after it, his bear form able to run at 40 miles per hour would be able to keep reasonable close to the panther.

Saerileth looked at the sundial out the window, and realized she would need to start getting ready for the ball. She goes to her room and starts to change, hoping her mother would be able to help her get into the ballgown. She had worn fancy dresses before, nothing like this.

The panther led him onwards towards a river, where a fisherman was yelling and crying for help. He waved his arms frantically at a broken, rotting log that was caught on some rocks in the middle of the rapids. Clinging to that log was a small boy. There was no way that the child could hold on for long.

The panther lept up into a tree to watch, the fisherman oblivious to its presence.

"Yay." Nawen replied clearly not feeling enthusiastic at all. She looked around hoping to see some masks and luckily for her the store had some masquerade masks for sale. She approached the masks and stared at them. "Alright. My dress is white so it would be the best to get a white mask." She thought to herself and eyed all available ones.

Nawen picked a beautiful white mask. It had a white rose attached to it. She wondered if the rose won't look to fancy but she could always rip it off. "I'm done." She said and approached the counter with both the dress and a mask. They may have forced her to wear a dress but she will not wear shoes with heels. No way. She may as well go bare footed to that ball.

Returning to his original form as he ran, he called out a rushed reassurance to the fisherman. Diving gracefully, he turned into his other bear form, in which he found he was a better swimmer, and swam his way out to the small boy. He grabbed the log with his teeth and held on, hoping the boy would get the message and get onto his back.
