Deleted6317247User
As soon as they left the tavern, Nawen immediately made her way towards the gate. "We'll be looking for three plants: Adder's Tongue it has only one leaf growing from a stalk, Alether - orange berries and some Basil leaves." She commented as she exited the town. She was half expected to see her animal companion, Sinn resting nearby but she was so very far away.================================================================"Not far." Shalena said once they were back in the ship. "We're going to Starmantle." The half-elf pirate then walked over to the helm and ordered the helmsman to set out immediately. She had no desire to confront Merick in an open sea for her crew was rather largely decreased after their last meeting. No, she will confront him in the place he always called home. AurianaValoria1
Lyria jumped up on the prow and danced around amongst the rigging, happy to be out of Westgate and facing the prospects of true adventure. Her life as a mercenary really had never gotten her out of the area, and she was excited to see something new.
josh900
Hexol looked up at Amendale. "Oh, is it? I just found it in my pocket.. No idea how it got there. Are you sure it's yours?" He asked quizzically. "I would hate to give it back to the wrong person you know. All sorts of untrustworthy people out there that'll take whatever they can get their hands on." He said in a disgusted tone.-------- Overhearing Hexol's explanation Tannin's eyes widened with fear. "Oh gods no.." He said under his breath, Hoping against all hopes that the little person was simply a misguided halfling and not something far worse than any foe he had faced in recent memory. Flipout6
"Yes, it is mine. And I can assure you I wouldn't ask for it if I wasn't certain." "He's telling the truth. He's a goody two-shoes save-the-children type." Arland snarked. Weyland didn't care about any of this, he decided he wanted to sit in the comfiest-looking chair he could find and drink some juice. nethgros
"I'm not really sure how much help I'm going to be looking for wild plants, so I think I'll just go to the market and see what they have. I'm almost positive I've heard of basil used as some sort of cooking ingredient..." Othos thought back for a moment and tried to recall if this was correct, "Either way we can meet back here at nightfall. Kowolj will probably be fine till then." With that he parted ways with Nawen and made his way to the market, asking around to see if he could find the basil. It didn't take very long, and Othos bought five large basil leaves from the vendor and insisted they keep the change, not wanting to be burdened with 'worthless' change. AurianaValoria1
For the next three days, Rhaine did little more than study up on Valthanarax's map and Kalin's ring. Trying to plan a logical route with the former was nigh impossible, and attempting to discern the supposed mysteries of the latter was mindnumbing. She stayed alone most of the time, either in her room or at a corner table in the inn's common room, trusting her companions to take care of themselves. It was only on the third morning that the Doomguide ventured out once more to check up on her armor and Othos's new weapon. She was eager to see the smith's results...and his completion of both items would mean they were prepared to travel once again. Rhaine was certain that everyone would be ready to greet the open road after staying so long in one spot - especially Othos, who seemed eager to head to Myth Drannor. Rhaine came down the stairs that morning with her pack over one shoulder, assuming that she would be able to arm herself at the smith's and be fit to depart soon. Alaylyne
"And they shall tremble before us in fear." the fey'ri added with a sadistic grin, following the witch. "So what are you up to now? I require an update." --------------------------------- "You never visit new places?" The genasi tilted her head a bit at her new friend, patting Avira who was asking for attention. "I don't think I'd ever be able to stay in one place for so long.' Air genasi and their fickle nature. Edited May 16, 2013 by Alaylyne
mythicdawnmaster
"Ah lady Rhaine, are you eager to depart as the others are? I believe our nearest location is the rebuilding city of Myth Drannor... what an interesting endeavour that will prove to be, I wonder how the locals will take to us? Well, I have everything packed and ready, simply summon me when you are ready to depart." ----- Ravenna smirked as she stepped into the carriage, It was not unlike the vessel that carried her around in mortality, it was however far more articulate in it's design, etched into the deep black wood were dark and twisted carvings that served as a border, golden spokes sat inside the wheel, and eight tall, muscular black horses stood ready to pull the heavy box, their eyes all solid orbs of red, focused on the roads. lowering herself gently into the back seat of the carriage, it took up the entire length of the carriages back, and featured and inset throne , gold detailing extending above Ravenna's head, the pair of them both had an entire length to themselves. "Now... now I roam Faerun to sew seeds of evil... to gain a little following of mindless slaves to cater my every need; Asmodeus demands his name be spread, and my actions shall bear the mark of the hells. But for now... Now we depart for the deep Troll Mountains... there is a certain clan of Orcs I wish to... lend aid." With that the horses where whipped into action, and the grim carriage thundered out of the brush, and onto the gravelled road, heading in the direction of the mountain pass. AurianaValoria1
Rhaine nodded, "Aye, Xallistine. I hope to be fit for travel soon." With that, she left the inn and returned to the blacksmith, praying that his work was finished. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conall's face was grim, "It's what happens when you feel bound to protect something you failed to guard in the past...when venturing too far costs lives." He continued walking in silence, his demeanor far less cheerful than it had been. Edited May 17, 2013 by AurianaValoria1
josh900
The past three days were not kind to Tannin. Plagued by visions that made the usual nightmares seem like the greatest fantasies he had stayed awake with the help of his potion of choice. During that time he kept his nose in a book, writing page after page of who knew what. Even with the chaos that the Kender occasionally caused he stayed focus on writing. That's not to say that he was unfriendly during the time span though, he maintained his usually friendly manner to anyone who approached him but for the most part he kept to himself.------------ Hexol had been having all sorts of adventures since he arrived in shadowdale, going to and fro in every which way, returning to the inn with his pockets full of random objects of little or no value. One the third day he spotted Rhaine as she walked out of the inn and headed towards the Blacksmith. He followed behind her gazing absentmindedly at her wings, Highly curious as to why she had them when she appeared to be a regular half elf.------------ Azuris had spent the days getting some much needed rest and relaxation. He had spent much of his gold on acquiring a new suit of armor, similar to his old one, minus the symbol of Kelemvor on the breastplate but being of much higher quality. other than that he had done next to nothing of note.
