"Agreed, we should get moving," Rhaine said with a nod, "We're unlikely to find out any more until we take out this base. Shaori?" She looked to the Avariel, "You should go with Nawen, if you know where this temple is."

Nawen waited for Shaori to return with her gear. She was happy that they are finally going to do something. She was getting rather impatient. "Alright. Let's go." The drow said and started heading towards the exit. It was good that she wasn't going alone. If something would happen to her than Shaori could warn the others so they wouldn't walk into an ambush or maybe even worse...

Once they got out of the Lair, Shaori stretched fully, wings and all and says. "I am so glad to be out of that.. thing's lair. I get nervous around too many people. I'll watch from above." She jumps into the air, and catches an updraft to glide around the roof of the cavern, to watch for ambushes.

Nawen stepped outside and sighed deeply. She too was happy to get out of that place but not because that this lair belongs to the Illithid. As a ranger she prefers to stay outdoors. Well if you can call Underdark outdoors.

She was about to say something back to Shaori when the Avariel suddenly stretched her wings and flew somewhere. The drow sighed again and looked at the mithril amulet in her hands. Mithril... it reminded the dwarven clan that raised her. She missed it more than she thought she would.

Nawen shook her head slightly and started walking silently and cautiously, stopping from time to time to listen if someone or something hostile is nearby.

Nawen was walking forward silently when she heard someone not too far from her. She had decided to pretend that she couldn't hear anything and surprise them. She continued walking, her hand resting on the hilt of her shortsword when suddenly the bandits came out of their hiding place.

The drow quickly unsheathed both of the shortswords and gracefully slashed one bandit's throat. She assumed that Shaori's surprise attack confused the bandits which was a good thing but not to the bandits.

Another bandit dashed towards and tackled her to the ground which caused Nawen to drop her weapon on the ground. The bandit started to strangle her she tried to reach her shortsword but even though it was lying nearby it was out of her reach but luckily for her the bandit's dagger was attached to his belt and was within her reach. Without wasting any time she pulled the dagger out of its sheath and plunged it into the bandit's throat.

Shaori swooped down upon the third bandit as he went for Nawen, and grabbed him from behind. Groaning slightly, she threw him off the edge of a cliff. He screamed, and then with a sickening thud, reached the bottom. She landed beside Nawen. "Are you all right?" she asked worriedly helping Nawen up.
