ok so, I dont know what sorta info I have to put here for help but I can add w/e is needed, more or less, but my char is lvl 39, game is modded, and I haven't changed any mods since I started this char, its my first char, only got like 88 save files (though they are numbered rather high despite that)

I have tried the save file cleaner programs, I use nexus mod manager, Loot, and TES5edit (Im on oldrim)

first time the game crashed on save was in the dungeon w/ crimson Nirn root (forgot the name) I tried an older save file, and even w/o being in that dungeon it seems to crash every few saves)

is there any help I can get? I don't want to restart not only the game, but my twitch/youtube series with it

1st char, probably going have to start game over. Let's type for a minute and create better background. Your setup? Skse? Skse ini or SSME mod for memory fix? ENBoost? To me, if problem occurred after hitting medium leveled character range, you might be running out of memory, especially if you haven't added or removed anything and your problem is not isolated to a particular area or cell. When you installed skyrim with steam did you check to verify integrity of game files? Of course you probably cleaned Masters and other dirty files that had been identified by LOOT. Wryebash tool is good tool to use. It's easy to install, I use through my mod manager(MO) it's easy use. Unless you want to learn how to make batched patches with tes5edit, my understanding is wryebash does it better?,then wryebash is a batchedpatch with a click away. Also tells you when you have unsorted Masters, which I read can get you later on in play through and there easily sorted with tes5edit. What says you?

Hi

It may be a resource issue.

Use Skyrim Performance monitor to see if one of it's graphs go through the roof on save.

Usually it is ram. Some ENB setups can cause it when too much ram is allocated. It is a 32 bit thing.

It can also be a i/o issue if you are not using a SSD or high performance HD.

skse is fully updated

checked using Skyrim performance Monitor, CPU spikes on load, but on save it dosnt spike, it just closes like I used QQQ

I just thought of something, the save file glitch started a while after I went to the collage, and the bridge near it (like after the 2nd light well) and the front wall wouldn't load till I did a save/load (though it still had the snow, and collision)

programs I tried

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/?

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27119/

verified after install, yes

cleaned everything loot found, yes

WYernBash..... tryed it with Oblivion, all it did was frustrate me and somehow messed up my game

the only thing I can think that could cause memory size problems is Frostfall, and Ineed, though those are my only script heavy mods

oh and as for ENB..... none, game looks as vanilla as possible
