netranger
I kind of made up a lot of character lore as the game progressed, so I thought It was only fair that the dragonborn could have kids (no mods required) My character Austinson married the Miner Sylgja from Shor's Stone. I redecorated her house with items from here and here, and in my characters lore he "settled down" from his adventures while I played as my other character Selena Diaz, Austinson's cousin. I played as her for a while, long enough for Sylgja to get "pregnant" the lore. She had twins, Fjotra and Erith. I gave them each beds in her house, then realizing I was going a little too far with this aspect, decided to leave it at that. They can sleep when I tell them too though, since they each own a bed, and they go around and sit in chairs and preform usual children actions (except erith, since she had a schedule at left hand mine so I had to setrestrain her a lot). (if you don't want to read the lore and why I wanted to do this) If you want your character to have children without one of the adoption mods, the following console commands will get this to work fairly well: player.placeatme 1e82c (child's baseID)prid ff002ac8 (child's refID)addfac 000f18f8 (the relevant fac, for me it was ShorsStoneSylgjaFaction - 000f18f8)SetCellPublicFlag ShorsStoneSylgjasHouse 1 (relevant CELL name)player.placeatme 000FEDB9 (CommonBedChild01)Select the bedsetownership 1e82c (child's baseID) Also, removing them from the faction they were in previously may help, so they are only in your spouse's factions. To tell your kids to do something, simply select them and type the command setfavorstate 1. You can then command them like any other follower. If you want your kid to stay in bed or in a chair, after they sit down/lay down, type the command setrestrained 1, and they will stay where you tell them to. To unrestrain them use setrestrained - Notes: NPC's that work the best don't have a schedule, like Fjotra and Hamming.NPC's with a schedule must be restrained with setrestrained 1If your spouse is looking at the children and telling them to leave, you haven't added them to the faction correctly, or the cell is not flagged public.Make sure not to talk to the NPC in the favorstate while you are using setfavorstate 1, skyrim has a tendency to crash. http://i.imgur.com/qoCZB.jpg Edited April 24, 2012 by netranger
Rabbit1251
I'll have to give this a try. I have the Skyrim Adoption Service from the Steam Workshop, but that was immensely disappointing. Thank you for this. Rabbit
