Character is too dark during daytime.

I have recently started to play Skyrim again and i have a problem that i had the first time also. The lighting in the game seems fine for me outside, in dungeons, during daytime or night time, but my character is too dark during daytime. If the character is between the camera and the sun, i can barely distinguish anything; if the sun is behind the camera i can see the character but still, the shadows (e.g.those made by his nose or chin) are dark as night. And while the character is so dark everything around him is ok. If i try to increase the brightness from the game options it will make everything around him too bright. Funny thing is that during the night i can see my character better when he is outside. So can anyone tell me if i there are some values in the ini files i can tweak or a mod that helps with this? ....Sorry if i misspelled something, english is not my native language.

There are a ton of lighting mods and ENB changes. Find one that you think looks good and use it.

Currently, I'm using this one :http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15105 If your computer can handle it, I suggest getting it.

That's a nice EnB, but be warned: you'll need a pretty decent/new computer to run it well. My slightly older computer was crippled by that EnB. It looks good though :)

I had the same problem, especially when wearing dark armour and riding shadowmere, but fixed by lowering contrast with the Imaginator mod . (I decreased contrast a whopping -22 or so.) It's got a ton of various settings but, to be honest, contrast is the only one I've used a lot. Though I did, ironically, decrease the overall brightness a bit.
