mabari of human noble

I have many characters with different races ,while dwarfs and elves get a mabari by helping out the kennel master and naturally the noble has his or her own mabari (the priviledge of being wealthy . But the funny thing is the elf or dwarf can name their mabari, but the nobles pet mabari is just called dog. Why is this?

I've always named my hound, and I play the Human Noble origin about half the time. You must have blipped past the "What's his name again?" dialogue. Can't remember when it happens, exactly. Somewhere in Castle Cousland.

Thank you I guess that happens when you want to hurry up the game you miss so awesome stuff. I guess my present noble male rogue's Mabari is just "Dog".

Eh? I thought the game lets you name your dog after you kill those giant rats in the larder.

Actually, the game lets you name it before the fight.

Oh yeah. :)

@Sync182: must just be glitches or something. Oh well, Dog is a good name. :P

I try to name my dog according to the background - for a human noble, I always assumed that the mabari was something you'd had since you were a little kid, so I think "what would a little boy/girl name you?" for hfn, it's usuallysomething like Cookie. haven't played as mhn yet, so haven't had to come up with something for him.
