Emloch
Hey all, Does anyone know if I can apply these Nexus mods with a Steam version of the Witcher 2? I'm rather new to the Steam thing. It looks like I've located where the game files in Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/xxxxx. I just want to make sure that the mods work before I buy through Steam. Thanks! dragonbird
Yes, they work the same way. Most mod installation notes will have some reference to a folder called CookedPC - after you install through Steam, this folder is further down the path that you mentioned. (PS: I'm a Steam user :) )

The advice I gave in this particular thread was given in April 2012, well before the toolkit came out. If it's an older mod, the method I described will still work. It doesn't use the "mods" option under Launch Game. If it's a new mod, you're probably better asking in the comments for the mod itself, or start a new thread here and ask about it.
