Thank you JaySuS you are a legend!

 

The design was based off two different swords - one with the ring-pommel-that-you-can-see-the-tang-through and an S-shaped crossguard, then another sword with a normal round pommel and three-forked crossguard, so I basically blended them together.

 

I think I found the two originals on a Google image search of a Irish sword or Celtic sword. The one you are talking about with the sort of man's body for a hilt is a really ancient sword, the one I designed is a mix of two medieval warswords.

 

As for the bloodgroove, (Which is really called the fuller ;D ) width didn't occur to me when drawing it, you can make it any width you like.

im not a fan of celtic swords but i will bound to use it after its made for either soina or ruin ( never could pick which one to use )

I checked just there now.

 

The Celtic sword search brought up images of the one you described (The man's body hilt).

The Irish sword search brought up images of the swords which I based mine off, so I guess you could name the sword Irish sword instead of celtic sword, even though they're related ;D

dunno if you can really call anything after the romans left britain celtic... true they never landed on ireland (prolly they thought theyre all just drunk anyway :P) yet the celts are officially extinct after the romans were done with them... thats prolly not true tho and they just evolved like every culture and ireland might have been the last refugee after the saxons took over britain

but who knows for sure history is so screwed since only winners write the stories and celts just made campfire stories anyway ;D

I guess the last one 'cous you apperantly know that some Germans have a "Twents" accent aswell and that me being a Twent (Tukker) is just another form of being Dutch. :thumbsup:

 

But on the other hand ...., we Dutch people eat a lot of "Kraut" as well....., so maybe you'r not Dutch or not a native one, no offence.

 

 

 

 

Oké back to topic, So..., If you like my designes ("Rangers Edge" & "Deathwish") whay haven't you made them jet, are they to compicated or what?

just listen to all the folk music... if you hide all your messages in drunkish squabble ala whiskey in a jar (which has nothing to do with whiskey for some reason but with cun... nasty women :P) what do you think the world will think... :turned:

but you also have quite the best in rebel music too... allinall perfect for a drunken evening with friends and some instruments...

btw im done modelling and mapping the sword... just need to make the scabbard and texture it... if you have an easy to realize idea for ingame placement go ahead... also ornaments or plain steel? ill do ornaments if youre asleep yet

didnt do your first design cause at the beginning i thought its to easy and its a dagger thus abit small... nevertheless i like it how it is... but i have to balance the whole thing abit

 

if i still have the time id like to do:

one of yours (dunno which), exodus 2nd sword, one of nami, maybe if i get over that spoiled brat comment (:P) of sabat one of hers/his tho i like all of her/him (train your drawing style even more and youll get really really good - its nice yet - you do graffitti?)... god not to know what gender someone is makes writing an annoyance... tri's sword fascinates me aswell but i doubt a polycount above 3k is acceptable for most mashines and thats what i would need to make the dragons look just remotely like them (1k+ faces each)

 

btw if you guys want a scabbard for these sword i suggest you draw one too...
