Slayerific
So I wanted to create a warpaint and got it working fine ingame, only problem is that it uses black as the transparent color, so I can't seem to get anything to work with black and white in it. Sure, I can use white and choose another color ingame it so that it turns black but then I can't use black and white together. Can someone help me with this? Slayerific
It's been a while now and the post has slipped a couple of pages back. I tried asking a few other people but they either didn't know or I couldn't reach them. I would appreciate if someone could help me out with this as I wanted to play around with the creation kit tonight.
TheDarkPrince
Since BLACK colour should be something like "fffffffff" just use another variation that is similar. Black -> move it to grey for a bit only -> no trasparency
Slayerific
That doesn't change anything. Everything dark basically gets ignored. I even tried a very dark blue color, but it becomes invisible. If I go dark + light, one of each is always invisible. I can't have white + dark blue, then dark blue is invisible when I change the warpaint color with the color slider ingame. One of each is always gone, it is really frustrating. If I make the face half white and half bright pink, the face is either pitch black or white ingame, depending on what "warpaint color" position I pick on the slider. Is it possible at all to make two colored warpaint? Edited April 25, 2012 by Slayerific
Gebreth
Is it possible at all to make two colored warpaint? Nope, it's not. Your base image have to be in greyscale, pure white will be rendered as plain color in-game while pure black is transparent. Done well you can make much more realistic warpaints. For example, this picture: http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/9876/gebfemaleheadwarpaint10.th.jpg Will be rendered like this: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/5514/warpaintpreview10.th.png Each non-white zones render like tiny scratshes, imperfection, etc.
Slayerific
I see, thank you. I was expecting this to be the "problem". The color section confused me a little there, but it's just to adjust the color of the whole thing. I'm gonna see for a workaround then, thanks a lot for the help.
