Mods not loading in-game

Hello, I have a problem with my mods as in I have the mods installed and enabled but they don't load in-game I had checked and all my .esm and .esp files are in my C/games folder I was wondering what to do to have all my mods playable

Hi

 

Go into AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition on your computer.

 

The file called plugins.txt is what the game reads to enable mods.

 

If you do not see your mods eps/esm listed with a * in front of the name the game will not see them.

 

This file is also your load list.

 

In NMM the tab that says "plugins" shows this files contents.

The first thing I want to know is how are you installing/managing your mods?

I have the same issue, my mods aren't loading into the game. I use the Nexus mod manager and that worked before my computer went black a few weeks ago. After it was fixed, I re installed skryim special edition and the mod manager but they weren't loading into the game. The mods that do work at the ones that go through creation club.

I'm having the same problem. NMM downloads the mod, in this case Aesthetic Elves, but it does not appear in my game. This is the only mod that I have had this problem with. I've even tried to manually merge the mod's data file with the game's data file and it doesn't work. I am using admin privilege for NMM when I start it up. I looked under Appdata/local/SkyrimSE and the mod is not there. I also closed my antivirus program down while downloading.

How can I fix this?

I guess its because we use fitgirl version of the game
