"Goodsprings Mods"

Now, I've seen this with a lot of mods... and I mean a veritable truckload of them. Even mods that put such-and-such elsewhere use Goodsprings as an 'easy out'...

And quite honestly, it's getting a touch ridonkulous.

I have five (5) mods that effect Goodsprings in my load order.

They are: Cat Outfits Vegas, geonoxT3armors, Sunglasses Shipment, RHINO45-70MX_NV, and Honjo Masamune Katana

Now, I had a rough time getting the geonox armors and Cat Outfits to cooperate, and that I did by wiping the geonox entry that dumped a caseful of armors in the Prospector's Saloon, which Cat Outfit already did. Thankfully, geonox also dropped a caseload of armors in a wagon outside said saloon, otherwise I'd be upset.

The Sunglasses Shipment is a footlocker loaded up the arse with various varieties of assorted sunglasses in many shades. This one, while in Goodsprings, drops the box in the gas station where ya find Ringo. So far, no conflicts.

The Masamune Katana mod drops a dead dude, and a deadly dude in the Goodsprings Boneyard... to the genius what did this one, drop the aforementioned dudes elsewhere! New players with this mod installed would die instantly! It also drops a collection of finely made Japanese sharp-n-pointies on-scene in said boneyard, in, or on hand with, one of the aforementioned dead and deadly dudes. Said deadly dude, btw, will chop up anyone so much as looking at said sharp objects too hard. The dead dude won't complain much, as he's dead.

The Rhino 45-70 is dropped, in a broken form, in... GOODSPRINGS! In this case, in a small open-air trailer sitting in the small town.

And, worse yet, with all but the Katana mod active, there is a conflict, somewhere. FNVEdit won't show where, or what, it is. And, unfortunately, said conflict is the CTD type.

I would appreciate an assist with this matter...

I would also want to know why the obsession of modders everywhere dropping their mod-aligned equipment and goods in Goodsprings!

I agree in principle, and I don't drop things in Goodsprings very much because it is so crowded. But if I did, and I posted something out of the goodness of my heart, and someone came along and complained about it, hypothetically speaking, I would tell them to become less helpless or else to keep their complaints to themselves.

As for your CTD, if there is a conflict, FNVedit will show it. So it could be something with your save, a conflict you haven't seen yet, a bad mesh.. who knows. Need more info.

I have no major issues, aside from how often it's done, and (as such) the potential for inter-mod conflicts.

However, one of the aforementioned mods includes a blade-wielding maniac, who happens to be a master with said blade... a new character player decides to trigger said maniac by picking up the sword in question... and promptly gets' pwned.
