cheekymondaydnb
Ok, ive done everything in the game, have a savegame of over 400 hours. I wish to reset all quests whilst also keeping all the objects in my house. (Not a vanilla house). As in, i want to completely start again but be able to pop to my old hideout and everything is as i left it. (Shawkabs hideout) Is this possible with console commands? eric31415
It is not possible to either reset a quest, or even go back a stage. Not by any method.
RedRavyn
Yes, it's possible to reset every quest. The command is "resetquest <questID>". You'll have to do this individually for every quest you've done. It means that every quest you've done will be active in your log, now -- at least that's what I think it will do, since I've only used this sparingly on just a few bugged quests. What it probably will NOT do is to replace all the various quest items needed back into the game, rendering those quests incapable of being finished. It may also fail to respawn certain NPCs and/or creatures which are in-game from the beginning and which have subsequently been eliminated, again permanently bugging those quests. Check the quest entries in the wiki for the ID numbers for the quests.
Rooker75
I think it would be easier to make a list of what you want in your home and just add those into a new game rather than trying to reset all those quests. Those quests will be bugged and glitched like crazy even if you do reset them all.
