DakotaRC
Okay, so I've been playing Fallout New Vegas on my new laptop. I've been wanting to play Fallout 3 with some mods I've found online, so I paid $20 for the Game of the Year Edition and downloaded it straight to my laptop. I opened the game, went to New game, and the loading screen appears and then BAM! The game crashes. I've been able to play New Vegas (don't know if that matters any), and I've tried multiple solutions. The .DLL file download, the editing of the .ini files, reinstalling, and nothing is working! I'm running off of a Windows 7, my graphics adapter is IntelĀ® HD Graphics Family (not sure if that's any good), and I really don't know about the rest of the stuff.. But I'm sure it's just the graphics adapter. But I don't know about computers much, so help me out? Fallout 3 is my 2nd favorite game and I want to play it on my laptop with some mods! eric31415
Make sure you installed that d3d9.dll to the same folder as the FO3 exe. I also play on a laptop with Intel HD Graphics, and my game crashed in exactly the same fashion until i installed that dll.
