Omny Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Personally I'm tired of having the Dragon Claws clutter up my inventory long after I've used them, and you can't drop them in a chest somewhere because they're labeled as quest items. So what if there was some kind of Display stand or something you could put in your home to proudly display them? Or even something like the Dragon Priest masks, where you take them all to a secret location to gain some kind of awesome prize.
darkdill Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 This is something I'd like to have in one of the homes. Kinda like the Bobblehead stand in Fallout 3. :)
LordAvernus Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 The idea of getting all the dragon claws to get a prize sounds cool.
kevkiev Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 thought I'd mention that there's an (awesome) Breezehome mod with a display shelf for the various claws. The only one I'm not able to store/drop is the ebony one and Bert's Breezehome displays that one too. Probably old news, but the unlimited bookshelves mod also lets you put them into bookshelves, though sometimes they do tend to get a bit knocked around.
Harvey2112 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) Dedicated Dragon Claw display racks are available as a modders resource. http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/18340-1-1339428099.jpg General Stores No prize, but sure beats placing them by hand. Shade1982 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 As a side-note, the dragon claws are only marked as quest items for the duration of the quest, so you should be able to drop them when the quest is completed. That's why you will see dragon claws you can't drop in displays.
David Brasher Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 The optional Skyrim Scaling Stopper mod: Skyrim Scaling Stopper - Misc Edits makes it so a lot of quest items such as many of the dragon claw keys are not quest items and you can drop them whenever you please. (We are all responsible people here, and if we choose to break a quest by losing a quest item, that is our responsibility and right, and we aren't going to cry and whine and say that someone needs to protect us from ourselves.)
mercurikun Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Levelers tower has a stand for the claws amoung other things of a unique variety
