Corpse despawn time

Anyone got an idea about corpse despawn time? I'm asking because while doing the quest The Only Cure, I happily went through Bthardamz without looting anything. After going back to Peryite to complete the quest, I went back and found most of the corpses had despawn. Only things left were the chests and a few corpses which didn't despawn and I got no idea why.

Im not quite sure,But i think i heard somthing about 3 days and some places 1 week. Well something like that

I believe it takes 30 days for a dungeon to reset. This dungeon is a special case and doesn't respawn enemies though, so the despawning of the corpses is probably related to your quest progress. Id be willing to bet that if you simply didn't return to Peryite and returned to the dungeon in the same length of the time that the corspes would be there.

I see, seems a bit stupid to despawn the corpse according to quest progress or otherwise. I would have thought corpse which haven't been looted yet should take longer to despawn. I mean the dungeon is huge (took me a couple of hours to get through) and there's lots of loot. Can't expect to carry them out in a single trip. I even took a follower along to help with carrying the loot but was already maxed out before I had gotten halfway. Oh well, next time, I will just have to exit halfway and dump the loot somewhere and re-enter again if I want all the loot I guess. >.>

Don't worry, before long you will have so much loot you will wish there was a Goodwill in Skyrim so you could just donate.
