esmith
Hi All, I had a bunch of mods loaded into Skyrim, mostly with NMM. Whenever I add a new mod I use BOSS religiously to check and correct load order, and follow mod-creators' instructions (as long as load order is included) for any that BOSS doesn't recognize. I don't get to play the game very often but whenever I do, first I update it and any mods that need updating. So for the most part, all functions well. Lately though, a couple of issues have developed that I don't know how to fix. 1) The game gets stuck while loading. A random loading screen image comes up (very pretty), the nice smoky haze meanders on up the screen in the background, and the Skyrim blurbs in the lower right-hand corner do their little rollover dance (very interesting reading), but that's as far as it gets. I don't want to just read forever, so.... I figured this might be caused by too many mods, or conflicting mods (even though I'm very careful to choose ones that supposedly don't conflict with each other), so I've deactivated them all with the intention of reactivating one by one until I hit the one(s) that make the game get hung up in loading. After deactivating everything the game loads fine, but now there's a new problem: 2) My character has sunk through the ground plane, so she's now bisected by whatever surface she's "standing" on. Movement works fine, and all the other characters are on the ground place surface where they should be, while I'm stuck up to my armpits, wading through soil, planks, and cobblestones. I have free time for the next several weeks and I'd REALLY love to get thoroughly into the game without playtime being stolen by problems like these. If somebody out there can help me fix issue #2, I might actually get to play for more than twenty minutes, in which case I promise to dedicate the slaughter of never-ending tides of enemies and dragons, to the glorification your name. Thanks in advance!
fms1
Easiest way is open console and type tcl this toggles collision, then look upward and walk normal, until you get a little higher than the ground level, then open console (~) tcl and you will fall to ground level (beware to not do this when you are high enough above ground level to kill you from fall damage). This will not fix what caused this, but you should now be standing on top of the ground instead of being sunk into it.

Zazoomah
Yep, TCL is probably your best option. If that doesn't work, then i will be shocked. Tell us if TCL works or not.
