ExplosiveBadger
Well, when you go to look in the skyrim files the "Bethesda File Archives" ones, you can't see them if you have a 64bit computer, bulls***, I know. I was wondering if there was anyway I could modify textures with my 64bit computer... I need to because I requested a mod 3 separate times... No replies to every SINGLE ONE. So is there anyway I could edit it?
MrSeptim
Seriously? I have a 64 bit system and there are some textures i'd like to modify for my own use. :(
RitualBlack
I don't exactly know what you are talking about, I have no problem opening bsa files. Just get a recent mod manager such as the Fallout Mod Manager and open the Skyrim - Textures.bsa with. Next you extract whatever you want from: textures\clothes\fineclothes\(subfolders and textures) After you have the textures extracted and modified you can open up the CK and change the filepath that the radiant rainment fine clothes use to your new clothing textures. The path for example could be data\textures\fineclothes\ExplosiveBadgerclothes\newrainment.dds (and don't forget about the normal map). Having a 64 bit OS doesn't really change anything to do with this. A quick retexture isn't normally a lot of work, but people unfortunately don't normally fulfill requests. It is a lot of time and effort for someone to go through, especially if the request doesn't interest them in the first place.
fms1
Idk about the latest versions of NMM, but I saw a video that Gopher made stating that installing NMM would break FOMM.
RitualBlack
I have not updated my NMM in a long time and there has been no problem with having both it and FOMM. I only use it to sort my .esp/.esm load order so I don't know if it breaks anything with installing mods via the manager. I enjoy installing my mods manually  . I also have both the NMM and the FOMM on my computer and I don't even own fallout so there shouldn't be any complications. I only use the FOMM to unpack things. bben46
I have had no problems seeing what is in the BSA files, no problems in extracting anything from the BSA files and no problems in creating a new BSA. All on Win7 x64. Note that the game and the CK are both 32 bit programs. You may try compatibility mode. There is no rule that any modder HAS to make wherever you ask for. Modders tend to make what they want to, and not what you want them to. If a modder saw your request and thought it looked interesting, or that it was something they would like in the game, then they may make it, if they have the time. Also, it's possible it has already been done - possibly as a part of a bigger mod, and they saw no reason to make it again. If you don't get a reply to a request, maybe it's because no modder is interested in doing it. Typically if a modder is not interested, they will not reply at all. Some people seem to think that if no one is interested then they should reply and let them know - If that was the case you would have received several thousand replies - all saying no thanks in various ways. This will bump your post back to the top and give it another shot though.
