ulera
So last night I was playing new vegas, finished up Old World Blues no problem, roamed a bit then quit. I go to start today and the first thing I notice is there is no mouse cursor on the main menu. So I use enter to select continue. The game loads but then I notice I can't control anything. The mouse doesn't move, none of the keys do anything, and ` won't bring up the console. I can't even pull up the menu to escape. I have to alt+control+delete everytime I want to quit... which is always since I can't play... what is going on here?
Craigsters
In your game menu in settings under control there should be a setting for your mouse to be set to default, you might of remapped something by mistake, use default to get the games original setting's!.. Also if your using a cordless mouse, make sure the battery for it isn't dead or low, if it's a corded USB mouse, unplug it and wait 10 seconds and then plug it in again, Windows sometimes re-installs the drivers for your mouse!. I'm an idiot. Turns out my friend never unplugged my 360 controller from the back of my computer when he left and New Vegas doesn't support dual control.
