Nocturnal997 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I have just begun a new game after clean sweep of my previous settings and mods. The game loads and plays fine as up until I activate the bed in the Live Another Life beginning. As soon as I would enter the loading screen, the game crashes. I am using Rudy ENB as well as the following mod list. (I am also using LOOT to organize the load order.) I appreciate any help you can give! Thank you in advance!
SongbirdLorelei Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Hmmmm.... The only time I've personally had a bed-use crash on Alternate Start was when my physics body wasn't installed correctly but I don't even see one as part of your load order. You say it's a clean sweep so I am guessing full reinstall has been completed. My next guess is that maybe you're crashing when it is trying to load the next location? Since you are using ENB make sure that you have the SKSE memory patch set up in your ini correctly with the proper amount of memory designated/set aside. Aside from that - there's a couple in your list I haven't personally used but I can't imagine any of these causing crashable conflicts. You might have some neck seems or grey face from the two npc overhauls. Unfortunately I think you will have to simply experiment, disabling them one at a time to find the culprit.
NuveroticMods Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I had the "CTD on Bed Crash Bug" pretty recently with SSE. If I'm not mistaken, it was due to the fact I had a Skeleton, but hadn't run FNIS yet. Or something along those lines. If that's not it. Start removing mods until it works, then figure out why that mod isn't working. Hopefully you're using Mod Organizer so you don't have to reinstall your whole game. lol
NuveroticMods Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Also, your load order looks mostly backwards to me. Here's a helpful list guide.1.)Master Files (This section literally does everything on it's own. Mods such as the unofficial patch, Campfire, and Climates of Tamriel to name a few, auto sort themselves to the top of your load order. Nothing can go above these)2.)Bug Fixes3.)Game Structure/UI (Example mods: Ordinator, Apocalypse, Smilodon, Sacrosanct, Better Vampires, Moonlight Tales, Frostfall, and Ineed)4.)Character Appearance NPC/Player (Body mods, Hair Mods, Eye mods)5.)Quest Mods6.)Add/Change Locations (Player Homes, city mods, even things like lampposts or practice dummies because these are changing the area they are set in)7.)Add/Change Items (New weapons, armor, changes to the stats of existing items)8.)Add/Change NPC's/Creatures (Followers or any npcs, monsters, animals. Includes things like immersive patrols and the "populated" mods)9.)Foliage (Examples: Verdant, Dense Grass, Bigger Trees, Lush Overhaul)10.)Meshes (Something that changes the shape of an object, weapon, armor)11.)Textures12.)Enviroment (Weather, Sound, Lighting)13.)Gameplay Changes/Tweaks (Kill Moves, Follower/NPC Behavior, Animations, Collision, Skeleton, and most misc. type mods)14.)Mods that specifically say "Load as close to the bottom as possible"
