Lantaarnpaal Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 I'm not one to post in troubleshooting forum nor do I post at all; but I can't for the life of me figure this out. So the thing is whenever I start up Skyrim it simply doesn't recognize the ENB files and it doesn't start. Skyrim works fine, it just doesn't load ENB. Without it I simply can't play because vanilla Skyrim just looks ugly to me. This happened after I installed the latest patch. So I figured that's the most likely culprit and maybe I just have to wait for the next patch. But I just had to ask if anyone had the same problem and if there's a fix? Oh, and I'm running a 6950 (overclocked) with the latest ATI driver. Thanks in advance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
marciosilva Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 Happens to me too. I'm using a Geforce 8600 GT, and ENB Injector is useless. The graphics are exactly the same as if I'm not using it. Unless I'm using the 0.108 HDR version, that one works, but with a bit of FPS loss, but I would like to try the other versions of ENB, just to change colors and a few effects, non HDR version. Rennn Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 I don't think Bethesda will ever patch it-- they generally don't patch with mods in mind, and the 1.5 patch added some graphical effects that conflict with every good looking ENB. I have the latest patch and I can still use ENB, but strange graphical artifacts pop up everywhere so I uninstalled it. My advice: while you're waiting for a fix (if one ever comes), try to make Skyrim look good in other ways.
