Skyrim New Mods: Legacy of Tamriel

Hi folk!

For the past few months, I've been working on bringing a way for the fabled Relics of the Crusader back into Skyrim in a lore-friendly, and fun way. I have achieved just that.

The Elder Scrolls V: Legacy of Tamriel - what is it?

Legacy of Tamriel is a large-scale quest mod which aims to bring back artifacts from other Elder Scrolls games back into Skyrim in a quest with a lore-friendly touch.

Currently, there's going to be multiple chapters, but we're only just starting on the first - the Knights of the Nine - which brings back the Divine Crusader's Relics with a few more additions.

Chapter One: Knights of the Nine will include:

* A new playable area in the Jerall Mountains

* A new playable area in County Anvil

* New weapons and armor

* New main-story Quest

* New NPCs who are currently to be voice-acted

* Giant lore-friendly twist to the story.

and more...

We're also looking for mod creators who'd be willing to set some time aside to help us with:

- Scripting

- 3D models & textures

- Voice-acting

- Level design

- Writing, etc.

Note: this is a volunteer project, and therefore you will not be paid.

All donations, if any, will go to getting a particular voice actor and for charity.

If you're interested in joining, please contact Grammsay on the Discord or by replying to this topic.

It sounds interesting. I may be able to do something for this when I have the time. What would your role be in the mod's creation? How many and which types of talents have you found?

Hi there anbeegod!

Thanks for the reply. Currently, we only sit with two other members of our mod team: Flametower and Brosis.

Our areas of expertise are as follows:

Grammsay (me): Writing, lore, Level Design

Flametower: Meshes & Textures.

Brosis: Level Design.

This is our "first" largescale mod and we've decided that if we're going to do it, we'd do it right.
I hope you join our team as we're desperately looking for creators, new and old, who are willing to assist us - with little to no pay.

If you have any more questions, hit me up! :)

I have experience in writing, lore, world-building (anything related to the story), quest design etc. I'm able to do a certain extent of scripting for quests (not too complex technically but extensive in design). As a side note, I have a lot of contacts of voice actors.

I too am working on a giant quest mod, so I was thinking we can help each other on both our mods, since we need a few more level designers and asset creators (meshes and textures). I have written a great amount of lore for 4E Cyrodiil for my own mod so you can decide whether or not to use them in your mod as well.

(I haven't written much about Bruma in that regard, but I wrote plenty for Chorrol, Leyawiin, Skingrad; especially Chorrol. The only catch is that Anvil was destroyed in the Great War in canon, though it can be rebuilt if we say so since it's not said that Anvil remains a ruin in 4E 201)
