  1. Updated the description as I am aware that some were misinformed/confused by the original post.
  2. This needs to be fixed in CK. It's a missing line of script that caused the problem, because the forcegreet depends on a variable and it must be set to 0 to stop the forcegreet. I'll release the new version of the prologue soon and that will be fixed. Also, to everyone: I probably won't check this thread as often as I should, so please join our Discord for efficient support.
  3. Background: A mysterious plague is killing everything in Skyrim, but that's not the extent of its terror - it is bringing its victims back as the undead. Livia Salvian, the daughter of the High Chancellor, is highly determined to stop this plague and bring honor to her family. Recognizing your talent, she has decided to enlist your help in her journey to fight the plague. The plague is bound to kill every living being on Tamriel. If you do not stop it in time, you will be left with nothing but a world of the dead... and the undead. Features: This mod introduces a semi-non-linear questline, where you can decide which quests you want to do and which you don't. Different quests you complete offer you different rewards, and will directly affect the final battle. The order of which you complete the quests, the decision of whether or not you would complete a quest, might change the whole story. Every quest builds up to the final event of the story, and out of over 10 main quests, you can choose not to do a single one to begin the final quest - if you're smart enough to find out how to stop the plague already! The quests are time-sensitive, if you do not stop the plague in time, then the plague will consume all of Skyrim and kill the NPCs - in the game. If you do not rescue a character in time, then that character might die and the quest may be changed altogether! Instead of new locations, you get over 10 high quality quests that permit real choices and consequences, and characters deeply developed. (Creating places was never my strength, creating the narratives is; that's why I need level designers who can create amazing places and dungeons to carry my narratives forward. Death Consumes All will not need new locations, however.) The mod will bring enemies with the model of Mihail Mod's monsters, with proper credit, as well as giving them well planned and refreshed lore. Progress: Quest design - 90% completeQuest implementation - 40% completeDebug - 10% completeVoice acting - not yet started It might use new music, but music is not promised. Other notes: Livia Salvian will cease to exist as a follower mod when Death Consumes All comes out. Death Consumes All is developed at the same time as Shezarrine - The Fate of Tamriel. This mod is considered to be the prequel and a simpler version of the completed Shezarrine. Meanwhile, we are continuing to recruit level designers, scripters, and 3D artists for Shezarrine. Death Consumes All is set to be released in the next spring.
  4. We will be opening our mod's development server to everyone. While the development channels will only be visible to developers, you are free to chat about the mod or other things in our server. https://discord.gg/k9W3N3q
  5. He gives you the Broken Rock quest if you have acceptance of 15, didn't say anything against the Thalmor (or said something against the Thalmor but later said something to support it), and didn't kill Ingvi. If you can't start this quest, then please use setstage frjointhalmor 10. The ending has a coding mistake too, so please refer to earlier posts on how to resolve the quest. I have fixed this problem in the version that is in development, but we cannot release it yet until all planned features are implemented.
  6. You will miss out something. Please install EFF or AFT to have multiple followers.
  7. Did you choose to join the Thalmor? This quest has a bug at the last stage and cannot complete due to a missing line of script. It has been fixed in the unreleased new version. Please use console command setstage frjointhalmor 250 if you wish to join the Thalmor, or 270 if you don't.
  8. I won't spoil the story for you! But Ingvi will appear again and it is possible that she dies in that chapter. It is possible that the player takes the Ruby Throne and rules the Empire, or the player helps the Thalmor conquer Tamriel - you already know these are the two possible endings, but how you get to those endings is what is truly interesting.
  9. I have been receiving a lot of complaints about how I made the Thalmor "having both good and bad sides", "isn't completely racist", "doesn't pursue genocide of humanity for elven ascension". In reality, I did not make the Thalmor a "good faction". You know what I based the Thalmor upon? Players who have talked to Onmund about the Thalmor's history will know, it is the Bolsheviks; in no way have they ever been the "good guys", however corrupt and vile their opponents (aristocrats/bourgeoisie) were - and however their partisans (Onmund/Bolsheviks) wanted to believe otherwise. It is quite a frustration to see players taking a character's words into full account and blame the author for creating a false reality that wasn't even real to begin with. Many people seem to see the political climates of the Thalmor which I created in this simple way - racist (Cindarin), evil guys; not racist (Thindrel), supposed good guys. The truth is, if you have listened to Ingvi, the "racists" are only using race as an excuse to gain more power, and the "not racists" have also done terrible things to secure their own interests. They are not inherently good, or evil. They are just mortal beings struggling for a tiny bit more influence in their country. As I have mentioned before, and for many times for good reasons, I chose to make the Thalmor a mortal faction which interests lie in mortal affairs such as politics and economy, instead of the commonly perceived terrorist organization which wants to destroy humanity and become gods, as told by MK. The reason behind my choice is simple - the "racist genocide card" is too overused and not innovative. Too many fantasy villains have tried to destroy humanity for their own race's ascension, and every time humanity would prevail and save themselves from those evil orcs or elves or aliens (or sometimes in some RPGs, the edgy bois can choose to let humanity die). The creators of those stories often attempt to model these villains after the Nazis, but they could not see beyond the Nazis' racism and totalitarianism, and had put as much effort into researching their source materials as they had put into shaping their villains' motive. The result is the many so-called "cartoon villains". What really is the reason to experience a story, if you can already see through a character or faction's motives in the beginning, and know what will happen in the end? What I see in the Thalmor's potential, is that they can be a faction contradicting the hero's belief and challenge the player's limits, that they can bring dynamics to the plot and create variables for the various parts where the player has to make a decision. These all cannot happen under a fixated "the Thalmor is evil" direction, therefore, I chose to do what I did. However, that does not mean I have abandoned the Psijic Endeavor plot altogether. It is an excellent material that relates directly to the arch scope of the story (mortal struggles vs. divine will). But to shape the story that I wanted to tell, the Psijic Endeavor will have to be fulfilled by someone else, and for a different purpose.
  10. Changes that will come in the new version: 1. If you have killed Ingvi, Onmund can be talked to again after he takes his time to think about it, but do not expect him to be friends or lover with you. 2. You can skip even the intro of College of Winterhold and recruit Onmund immediately, which was really the only requirement to start the mod. 3. Tool for players to check if they can make further progress in Onmund's romance. 4. Rewrites for various lines, these lines will not affect your gameplay or change the story itself. Onmund's New Intro
  11. Would you possibly be able to tell me what acceptance and romance is required for the last parts of Onmund's Romance, particularly the wedding, quest to trigger? Ive managed like 40 or 50 something acceptance and 60 something romance, I would have to look for exact numbers and I'm restarting because of Civil war quest-line breaking despite having the unofficial patch. You need higher romance for the wedding. Have you received the ring from Onmund yet?
  12. Open Cities is in theory incompatible with the date, because the date requires the player to first be in the original worldspace of Whiterun. It is possible to get past it by using console commands to teleport to the original Whiterun worldspace. The acceptance and romance were both not enough, give him more gifts and do more quests with him.
  13. I will rewrite a number of lines from Onmund's intro as well as An Eye For An Eye, possibly from other generic commentaries too. A lot of these lines were written when I was in High School and not yet proficient in English, but I have come a long way since then, and English is now almost my second native language. I will rewrite them, so that the quality of Onmund's lines will be consistent.
  14. In the next version, the villain will start hunting you and Onmund and he will reluctantly work with you again in peace.
  15. Getglobalvalue fronmundacceptance If higher than 15, and you did not kill Ingvi, the quest would start. If not, setstage frjointhalmor 0
