Cannot start the game at all

Hey there,

I've installed Fallout 3 today and thought like "Wow, I can finally play a game which would make me keep playing". Well, my thought didn't get far and my game got even less far. It just won't start. When I start it, all I get is a black screen + an hourglass and then freeze. Only way to end it is to CTRL+ALT+DEL and end the process. Tried A LOT of fixes (d3d9.dll, xlive.dll, changing fallout.ini etc etc.)

My specs:

Intel HD Graphics Family (Nvidia Quadro 1000M)

4GB Ram

Intel i7-2630QM @2Ghz

Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

PC specs should be enough, still can't run it. Any ideas?

Unfortunately you computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game. The minimum clock speed for the processer is 2.4GHz, you have 2Ghz. You also need a video card, not an integrated chip.

You are overloading your system, causing it to lock up.
