charger145
Hey there, I've installed Fallout 3 today and thought like "Wow, I can finally play a game which would make me keep playing". Well, my thought didn't get far and my game got even less far. It just won't start. When I start it, all I get is a black screen + an hourglass and then freeze. Only way to end it is to CTRL+ALT+DEL and end the process. Tried A LOT of fixes (d3d9.dll, xlive.dll, changing fallout.ini etc etc.) My specs: Intel HD Graphics Family (Nvidia Quadro 1000M)4GB RamIntel i7-2630QM @2GhzWindows 7 Enterprise 64-bit PC specs should be enough, still can't run it. Any ideas?
M48A5
Unfortunately you computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game. The minimum clock speed for the processer is 2.4GHz, you have 2Ghz. You also need a video card, not an integrated chip. You are overloading your system, causing it to lock up. charger145
Trust me, this laptop can run it. I can run Skyrim on top-notch graphics but not this game which is 5 years old or something?
charger145
Oh, and by the way, this laptop is not even 1 year old... Not that it can't be good, but it definitely will run it.
charger145
Re-installing the game again w/o any patches and see if I can get it to work... again.
charger145
If I'm correct, Fallout 3 won't run on any pc with an integrated graphics card, will it? Just read about it a lil bit, but it just won't work.
charger145
I give up. I tried nearly EVERY SINGLE combination of EVERY SINGLE fix and it just doesn't work. This game with an integrated graphics card = total disaster. Wasted my $30.
