Torvild shrugs. "I have learned that when war and fighting are issues it is best not to think but only to obey orders. If we started to think we'd get straight out of here."

He considers. "Perhaps we should try to talk to that Asgardian woman. I would like to know a little more about who is attacking, and why, and the real consequences of their winning."

He looks about to see if the woman is close.

For more than 3 hours you keep marching at the same high speed when all of a sudden you hear a discussion between the riders.

<They have been marching for hours! They need some rest or they'll never be able to fight!>

<They can rest once we have reached Lorianna!>

<In name of the Gods, you will drive them to death! I know you want to save your country but these are just ordinary men, from flesh and bones!>

You dont hear Lena replaying anymore. Soon the order is given for a rest. Many men sigh relieved and sit down, other keep standing and drink some water. You notice how Lena stands away from the colone. You her arm making a gesture like she has something in her eye... You come to realise that she's crying.

Torvild approaches Lena cautiously. "Madam, I would like to sympathise with your distress but we have been told so little of what is happening. We know that your lands are under attack but who by? What do they want? What do they do to the lands they conquer? How are their forces organised? Do they help from traitors? What methods of fighting do they adopt? Is magic involved?"

He looks a little awkward. Once he had been feared and respected, now he was a mere common soldier.

"Perhaps you feel we need not know but I think the men would fight more fiercely if they knew what they were trying to save too."
