Bolisaris
I am a noob to modding and would like to connect a large corridor to a smaller room, I am making a mine and want the mine entrance to connect to a smaller room, but when I connect them there are leaks into the outside world so to speak. I have tried to cover the large doorway with the likes of boulders to try and plug them but to no avail. Is there a technique that allows you to do this, or even better if someone knows of a tutorial that shows this I woukld be grateful
killerrj8
there are parts that connect Large rooms with smaller rooms without there being leaks in the edges. I don't know them all though. You have to look and try which works. If you can't find any, then cover the leaks with ruins or something like that
David Brasher
If you use snap-to-grid and all the pieces you are using are fully compatible, then there will not be any leaks to the outside void. If the pieces you are using are not fully compatible, then you will have to cover all the gaps with architectural pieces and static clutter in a freeform non snap-to-grid fashion. The tutorial even acknowledges this and states that the Skyrim architectural pieces were designed to be used this way, unlike the pieces in some previous games. Bolisaris
Thanks for the advice, I will try to find any reducing pieces first then if that does not work I will try the clutter method. thanks again
