VorlaHusian
Question: How can I give my character shiny silver skin. Reason: I'm making a race of machine people (I know it's lore breaking but I like the Machine People from Rifts) and I need an appropriate skin texture to make it look right. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
ghosu
I would recommend a simple metal texture BUT the more important part is the cubemap you pick in NifSkope...just pick a high reflective one like wrtemple, orich or obsidian and play around with the BSLightingShaderProperties' block details - like environment map strength. VorlaHusian
OK. obviously not clear. I need step by step instructions on how to add it as a skin for your character. From what I can do in CK I get a single tone of one colour. I know I am doing something very wrong just don't know what.
gasti89
I think ghosu wasn't talking about CK. He was talking about a costum mesh doable with NIF programs. In the CK i think you just have to create a new race and associate it to the custom mesh you create.
