EastSideShaman
Hey I'm new to all of this modding stuff but i came across a bump in the path when it comes to Skyui So to my knowledge I've downloaded Current build 1.7.3 SKSE Version for the original skyrim from http://skse.silverlock.org/ I'm trying to download the SkyUI version 5.1 and when i try to activate it, the nexus mod manager gives me this message: This report informs you about potential problems with your SkyUI installation.Fix these problems , then press 'Refresh' to confirm that they're gone. After all problems have been resolved, you can continue with the installation.-----------Problem #1:-----------There are files in your 'Data/' folder, which override newer versions from the SkyUI.bsa archive. These files are: Data/Interface/bartermenu.swf Data/Interface/containermenu.swf Data/Interface/inventorymenu.swf Data/Interface/magicmenu.swfPotential causes:* An old SkyUI version was not uninstalled before installing the new one.Solution:1. If you have an old SkyUI version installed in NMM, uninstall it, then try again.2. If there are still problematic files reported, delete them manually. (from my attempts to fix this)this is the first of Skyui i have attempted to download so i have no idea what "potential causes" is referring too when i remove the interface Files, skyrim cannot load entirely, nor does Skyui activate in my mods list how do i solve this, please and thanks

PeterMartyr
SkyUI is packed in a BSA, before installing, with the fomod installer it's checks for loose swf files that might overwrite it. So nothing is wrong! Fix your load order (Mods) so it is compatible with SkyUI. Like talking to baby, You have other UI mods installed!!, Choose your conflict!! SKYUI or the other Mod. Note I do use Mods the overwrite SkyUI too... remember a conflict is simply a choice. Sometime they play nice, sometimes it the end of the world has we know it.
