Is there a video or written tutorial on how to make a housecarl for your home mod?

Look into the ck for Lydja or other housecarls. They are nothing else than simple vanilla followers. There are tons of tutorials outside how to create a vanilla follower. If you want to make a custom one, you can use this follower framework:
