Was anyone able to get Leliana as Divine if you side with Templars as partners? I know that gives Cass a +10. I really hate Marry Sue Fiona and really like Delrin Barris. I hate losing this guy.

The Architect: You know he is a liar if you read his journal. The game does give you enough information not to trust him which is reason to see him as an enemy. I kill him.

GDApp is a nice tool. It doesn't open an excel, but I can export to excel. I was able to download the dragon age tool and SQL 2005 shows up on my control panel. However the functionality of taking the excel and converting it to gda doesn't work using the Excel processor. I'm concern that some functionality is loss trying to get it to work with the windows 10. Microsoft does flash a message stating they don't want to support 2005 because of security issues.

Thanks, double post accident. Wiki gives instructions for windows 7 and xp. The Sql link for SQL windows 10 stated https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/404Error.aspx: "We're sorry, this download is no longer available". I can use GDApp and I will try that.

Need help! The toolset did install. However Excel processor located at Dragon Age\tools\ResourceBuild\ExcelProcessor is not working. The command window tries to come up but shutdowns quickly. I'm wondering if this is because The SQL server the tool downloads is for a 32 bit machine. I'm windows 10 64 bit machine. Has anyone found directions to get the correct SQL server for windows 10 64 bit that will work with dragon age tool?

I wanted to reduce cooldowns for talents but I don't want to make it all the same since the activation cost are high to fourth tier talents. I thought I would be happy if I cut the talents to 1/4 their present value. There is a mod that does 2 sec but I notice the NPCs still tends to spam high tier talents. To do this is the following correct: 1. Go to Dragon Age\Tools\Source\2DA\rules\ABI_base.xls file copy it and change name to ABI_baseCH.xls 2. Remove all rows not needed and change the cooldown of the rows I need. 3. Then run through export processor to make an override file If this is correct, then I would like to do it? The have seen mods that change all cooldowns to the same value like 1 sec or 2 which is not what I want.

Yes, Independent is the best. I like the NCR and it is easy to have them on your side. However, it is hard to overlook all the corruption, and the fact they are over extended. I still play both options just cause I like so many of the NCR characters.

I replayed this game: At messiah level 30 idolized by NCR and liked by BOS with the second quest "eye sight to the blind completed" and that small gun quest the third quest for BOS. BOS clearly stated they would help NCR fight the Legion. Colonel Moore was still angry about it because she wanted all of them dead, but it still went through. Honestly, really DON'T like killing a group with family unless I have to. I don't kill the Khans, and I had more reason to do so. As for NCR, they suffer from corruption. They brought in the Powder Gangers, and they take 95% of the water as well. They all have dirt on them. The Legion is correct in saying the NCR is corrupt but the Legion is not the answer or a group worth supporting.

If I let the guy with the bomb kill the Van Graffs, can I still do the peaceful solution for heart ache by the numbers? I noticed the letter was NOT in the safe before "heartache by the numbers" Cass the peaceful route. I always wanted to let them get bombed. I guess I could leave Cass at the bar and not take her quest. I know there is an option to tell her to head West.

In general, if you haven't changed anything about your game and it suddenly stops working correctly you need to look to other causes: such as software updates to Windows, programming libraries such as ".Net", or hardware drivers. Older games eventually get dropped from product testing. ------------------------------------- This is exactly correct. I have checked with Microsoft's message board and it is full of complaints from their last update. Checking event view log was exactly the right thing to do. It wasn't just this game that ended up getting dropped from testing. I saw other legacy games that were hit with major issues as well.

I might have this figured out. I had NVSE stable version 5.1b4. I check the page and they now have NVSE 5.1.6 @korri123 korri123 released this on May 29. It states Bug fix for heap corruption.

I'm now getting this in the event view log. I'm running windows 10 64 bit machine. I have NVSE, JIP plugin, 4 GHZ patcher and x86 Visual C++ is installed.

Thanks you so much. That was it exactly. I thought I had Visual C++ and was confused. I needed the 32 bit Visual C++ 2015 x86.

I checked with windows and ran the game as an admin. It took a while before an actual crash occurred. I played over an hour before it happen. This is what I saw in the event log. The mod list didn't have any conflicts. It might be another windows 10 update issue. I re-installed the game. I reinstalled NVSE, made NVSE ini file with this line "DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=400" 4GB Patcher, JIPLN NYSE, NVAC. I use a controller so JIP added features is nice with the controller. Honestly it was working okay until level 20. I removed Istewiea tweats, Unofficial patch nvse, YUP, NVTF new vegas tick fix, Mod Configuration menu, perk every level and Weapon mod expanded. This game with windows 10 on steam has issues so I decided to keep it simple. Checked Window Event: From what I found in error it looks like Microsoft was downloading updates and their were errors in version.

Where do I find the reason for crashes? Is it in the game folder? What file or folder am I looking for? I'm on windows 10 and there is no message that pops up. It just crashed to desktop. I have roughly twenty mods the biggest being bug patches so I'm not sure why the crash. It was working great yesterday now crashes every 5 minutes. If you go with NCR, old timers lose their homes because of taxes in Goodsprings. It is called the Independent ending for a reason.
