Valkskyrim
up untill this point i have basically ignored mod order, i have roughly 100 mods so i figure i should probably start to figure it out. NMM installs BOSS, does NMM automatically adjust load order based off of BOSS or is BOSS something that should be downloaded seperately? Will launching SKSE/Skryim through NMM load mods in a different order than if i launch through the standard skyrim launcher? most explanations of load orders that i have seen are worded in a way that the only people who have a f***ing clue what its saying are people who already understand the topic so i decided to post here. fms1
If you have the right versions of BOSS, NMM, and Skyrim. Skyrim recently changed how it does load ordering Skyrim patch 1.5 and later will use text lists for it (BOSS 2.0 and later, I'm not sure about NMM ver. though). Skyrim 1.4.21 and earlier used the old timestamp system (checking the date modified). SKSE doesn't affect load order at all, you just have to use the right ver. of it for whatever ver of Skyrim. Georgiegril
You can also download the BOSS software and run it independently of NMM. It will let you choose if you want it to change your load order, give you a log file or both. You can also check that list against what you see in NMM to see if BOSS in NMM is working. I'm guessing with 100+ mods and no troubles it has been doing it's job for you.
