Neocyte
I'm starting to like the Nexus mods more than Steam Workshop. I've tried downloading the mod manager, but I always get an error saying something about the "install info folder." Can somebody please help me? Georgiegril
I'm not sure, but it sounds like an incomplete installation for some reason. And I agree, there are great mods on nexus, and I find the atmosphere much more friendly and helpful. If it were me, i would uninstall the NMM program I was using and reinstall using the nexus wiki page on this as a guide. I found the download page for NMM to be less clear than the nexus wiki on NMM (see the below link) nexus wiki on NMM Hope that helps! http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Installing_Nexus_Mod_Manager

fms1
Go to all those folders and check properties, and make sure the "read only" box isn't ticked. EDIT: I hope your running steam with that. Edited May 1, 2012 by fms1
Neocyte
I have all the directed areas to the default of what the installation selected ( in reply to your edit)
fms1
If it's in the default directory it will be (C:)\ Program Files (x86)\ Steam\ SteamApps\ common\ skyrim , the (x86) will depend on your OS. EDIT: anything in program files is protected by the User Account Controls and will ask permission any time you, or a program tries to change something. Georgiegril
If you have Window 7, make sure you are running the program as an administrator. (right click on the icon and look at the security tab)
Neocyte
Fixed it! I simply re-installed NNM and placed the install info in a folder other than program files.
