Guest Guest_Grudge
I know this has been done many times before but I don't think it's potential has been reached to the full. Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet but all the Star Wars mods I have seen were nothing but a few lightsabers and some weak dialogue and quests handed out by Yodi and Obi Wan. I want to do a real Star Wars mod that has an intriuging plot. I can handle dialogue and some of the scripting but I was hoping I could get a few star wars fans that want to see a good mod out of it to help me with the textures and meshes. I kinda have an idea of how the storyline would go but I want someone's input on that (opions can only make the idea stronger). I am serious about this and would like some people who seriously want to make a strong star wars mod to help me, because if this is to be done I will certaintly need help. What ever help I could get out of this I will take. Any advise is welcome and all will be noticed so please let me know if someone has interest. Thanks. Peregrine
Yeah, its a nice idea at first.... until you realize just how much work it would be to make a full star wars mod. Unlike expansion mods you'd have to replace nearly every item in the game to get the star wars setting right. Buildings, houses, weapons, random objects, all of that has to be remade. Then add the time/effort required to put it all together into an interesting and playable game. So unless you've got a lot of people with definite long term committments, forget it.
