You need soldiers for the crew defense. Something like special forces. And special forces guys arent always stuck up. Ive worked with some of them and they know how to party.

I'm actually all about clothing design and concept art and that sort of thing, and I know enough about texturing that I can take care of that.

 

Anyway, what we really need to do is to begin to decide what's truly priority, and who to assign it to. As Saamziel said earlier, our first priority is the modelling/texturing of the ship itself. While the inspiration picture will do for now, I'll probably want to do some original concept art eventually, just for purposes of originality. Next, we need anyone proficient in scripting to begin the travel script, which, while not terribly complicated, is a bit complex to explain, so they should PM me for details. I imagine Saam has already started work on the new worlds, at least conceptually, so we'll probably be discussing that. Once we have an established theme for the ship, we can start on NPCs and uniforms. Things like animated chairs and elevators, while cool, are going to be complicated, and will mostly just be for aesthetics, so we can put those on hold right now.

 

Saamziel, you should probably edit the first post with our current team-members, whether they are confirmed or not, and what modding skills they have, so that people can see what we still need and what they can help with. Of course, the more the merrier no matter what your skillset is. If ANYONE is interested, please PM Saamziel and I and we can discuss the idea and how you can help.

 

So, anyone want to volunteer?

Nicely done! I think that DNP also said that he could do basic modelling/texturing.

 

On an unrelated note, I'm setting up my old scanner right now, so I'll be able to start uploading concept art soon!

Hey yea some updates the first world type, architectural building type, and name are confirmed and production is to start shortly. we still are accepting new modders for various jobs. most of which we need multiple to help create this mod faster. so if any are interested pm me or rickythecat to get started k thanks
