I would doubt it but is it possible to make cottons parrot and have it sit on his shoulder and like if you go to cotton (You know the way NPC's randomly greet you) the parrot could say ahoy mate or something and the sound could be recorded from one of the films???? +Do you guys know if anyone is doing anything about making the Black Pearl??? Lip Posted July 14, 2008 Author Share Posted July 14, 2008 Ok well I tried to put in pics to help but there all over 250k :(. I had a really good pic of the pearl but its to big a size. Just another thing about it, are you guys having it that the sails are loose and not closed like sails of a ship are in the game. If its possible that would be cool :). I can remember wee stuff I can pick out about the Black Pearl, theres like for example: Theres 3 Lamps at the rear (Back) of the ship, theres a statue of a mermaid on the very front leaning as if its flying, the sails are black with clothes patches on it covering up holes (As its described lol :)), its cannons go just like a line from the rear to the front (Theres 9 cannons on each side. So 18 cannons in total.) and at the bottom inside the ship (Unlike the ships in Oblivion) it has a prison unit called "The Brig". If you guys could put the Brig at the very bottom deck it would be fantastic :D. Instead of simply a copy of the middle deck like the ships are in game. And you could put Rum barrels in the middle deck or somewhere ( Cause it would reflect the way there must be rum on the Pearl for good ol Jack ;)) And btw if you are doing 9 crew members then you would need 9 beds in the middle deck or somewhere. I don't know about Jacks/Barbossa's cabin. The Captains Cabin. The only time you see the Black Pearl's captains cabin is the Bit in the 1st film when Jack is talking to barbossa about them on a beach or something lol and Jack takes a bite out of one of Barbossas apples and in the 2nd film Dead mans chest before Jack meets Bootstrap in the brig. When he is doing something with a map. So I don't know about that :(. For the outside I don't know, the stairs are a bit different from the normal ships in Oblivion, there sort of curved. And one more thing, i think it would be cool if you made the Pearl a lot more bigger than the ships are in Oblivion because in game the ships are not really big at all :(. Oh and the Black Pearls colour is like a really dark grey colour close to Black I think (Hence the name "Black Pearl" I guess lol :)). So thats all I can think of. Not only would they be easy to retexture as black, but it would make any ship (particularly if you get this one moving) better, not to mention more immersive.
