bevilex
Hi all, So I am trying to add some Witcher 3 musics to Oblivion. I know where to place them and I have made sure this is the same format as the Vanilla musics (.mp3), but the game doesn't want to read them. I saw that the bit rate was high, so I lowered it to 192, same as the Vanilla musics, but the game still doesn't want to use them. What am I missing? Thanks. DrakeTheDragon
Did you try removing the Meta Tags... what were they called again?... Certain OBSE plugins handling music playback don't like MP3 files with any meta data left, but in general I think even the Vanilla music system didn't exactly like it with such. I for one made it a habit to remove all tags from any MP3 files I add into the folders. edit: "ID3" is the name I didn't recall. It's advertised in several music mods'/frameworks' pages to use this tool or similar to remove them: https://www.mp3tag.de/en/
bevilex
It worked when I used your recommended software. I guess it was the ID3 because I removed manually all data I could (and there was no ID3 to remove) and it didn't work. Thanks for the answer! DrakeTheDragon
It's only a small payback in comparison to the massive amount of fun I got out of installing the mods from your list some months ago.
