Storm Raven
Sounds like a bad download. Rarely, but it does happen corruption can occur to a file during its download. Delete the old file and try downloading it again. If after downloading the file again, you receive a corruption message from 7-Zip then I would suggest informing the web host that their file is corrupted. If this is a common file. You may be able to find it and downloaded elsewhere. I would suggest the authors website first. I am assuming you are referring to the unofficial oblivion patch, but just in case... What is the "UOP?" Is this an XP or Vista operating system, you 're working with? Thanks, Storm Raven 8)
Varus Torvyn
Like StormRaven said, if you'r referring to the UOP & a TESNexus download, try using another server (there are several to choose from). The file itself is fine. Try downloading the self-installer version.
Creixhitme
My operating system is Vista 64bit so it may be that. I would use another server but the only other i could find is file planet which is a gay ass website that requires payed membership to download. I am referring to the unofficial oblivion patch yes, and i have downloaded both versions twice. I suspect its my computer because if it was the download other users would probably comment on it. any advice?
Varus Torvyn
Yes. Get a better OS. You're trying to get 32-bit programs to run on a 64-bit OS. There's not much call for 64-bit operations right now, and there's little in the way of 3rd-party software support. It's like trying to run a 16-bit screensaver on 32-bit XP: isn't going to happen without heavy tweaking. 32-bit XP expects screensavers to be 32-bit (saves them in the "System32" folder). If you just have to have Vista, get the 32-bit version & hotfix it. All of the 3rd-party uber-game developers are coding games for XP & Vista 32-bit, and DX 9.0c & 10. Edit - also, Microsoft will support XP SP3 until 2014, and the 3rd-party devs know that, so software support won't stop for now.
Leenysaurus
I don't think you have to pay for FilePlanet ... I have an account there, and I'm not paying anything. Also, I got the same thing with the Unofficial Patch, but it was fine after I downloaded it a second time.
