domaik
Hi there. I'm going to buy Skyrim for computer this week. I have played it before with a friend but as an RPG lover I wanna buy and play it myself. So I come here asking which mods should I get, that kind of mods that are like: oh you MUST get this mod! So I'm interested in Mods that make it visually better such as character customization mods, hairs, skins, towns, graphics in general...Mods to add new places and dungeons.Mods that add features that one must have to play better. (no cheats please)Mods that make the lighting in dungeons better (I remember it wasn't dark at all) Any mod to balance enemies when you're high level? Also interested in nude female mods and related such as better/revealing outfits for them. In general, mods that you have to get to play it better. So I came here before buying it to see how things are in the modding aspect, I dunno how good that steam thing for mods is and if I can see easily there which ones I need. So what are your recommendations? Ty for your time.

Anya29
Frostfall - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11163 Makes the game more realistic and makes you think more about travel. When it's cold you get cold, you get wet in the rain and rivers, if it's freezing you freeze. If you don't build a fire, shelter or go into a building you will die. You get an option to check your current condition at any time and you get updates to say if you are getting cold, warm, wet, freezing or any other condition. You do get some survival skills such as building a fire if you have firewood and building a tent if you have wolf pelts which you can then carry with you. To start it just go to any Inn read the book and then read it again to choose how extreme you want it to be. :)
fms1
The best thing I can say is to look on Skyrim Nexus at the top 100 categories, because what I think is just AWESOME, you may not care for, it's really a matter of personal taste.
Georgiegril
I'm with fms1 on this one. The top 100 is filled with crazy good mods, and only you know what you like. I would add, though, that it may seem painful at the time, but you can avoid all kinds of suffering later by adding mods one at a time and moving around in the world a bit to test them before adding another. That way, if a problem comes up, you won't have to look at your 50 just-downloaded mods and wonder where the problem is.
freddagg
Realistic weapon weight is good to have,Glowing ore veins also handy,Lady body (LB) worth looking at if you want a realistic looking female with modest clothing,SkyUI for interface and of course you need SKSE script extender,Rich merchants makes a stating game a little easier to pawn off your looted goods. Sorry, no links provided as in a hurry but easy to search for
