hithl4in
Hi, I remember when I played Oblivion a long time ago... there were roleplaying mods, I mean mods that add a more realistic look and feel on Oblivion. For the "look" I have found quite a few mods to help characters and environment looking better. Now what I wonder is: are there for Skyrim mods that change the gameplay, to make it more "role-play"? In Oblivion for instance there were mods to require the player to eat, drink and sleep, mods to have more realistic shop schedules (closed at night), more realistic fighting (harder as well), deactivate fast traveling (I have tried "enablefasttravel 0" in the console and it did nothing), such kind of things for people more concerned about the pleasure of the game, roleplaying side, than just finishing the game. Thanks
tetradite
Now what I wonder is: are there for Skyrim mods that change the gameplay, to make it more "role-play"? In Oblivion for instance there were mods to require the player to eat, drink and sleep, Thanks I'd love to see this. Imp's More Complex Needs for FONV was AWESOME. That tracked you all the way down to carb/protein/nutrient levels and other ridiculous details.
hithl4in
Lol I do not ask for that complex things ;) In Oblivion if I remember well the game just makes so if your character does not eat/drink/sleep he will be tired faster for instance, was a long time ago, don't remember exactly... According to what I saw, in Skyrim the effect of food is so tiny that why bother using food? A healing spell works better than an apple ;)

Thanks I'm a big fan of immersion, as well. I've tried several mods to make the player need to eat and drink and sleep. My favorite is Eat and Sleep by kuertee. It has Auto-Eat and Auto-Drink features (automatically ear or drink at meal times), and it will put together a menu (of sorts, the meals are rated by energy provided, due to scripting limitations). You can still eat and drink manually to take care of hunger or thirst. Epic Glory by madmole can make your skills start at 0 (except for racial bonuses), and/or can make your stats (health, stamina, magicka) start at 50, and/or can slow down skill leveling. All of those contribute to a more challenging, "real" feeling game for me. And, Incremental Difficulty by LazyAltmer is another way to increase the challenge. This mod changes how the Adept, Master and Expert settings affects player damage, both dealt and received. No more nerfing the player's damage, instead it makes the NPC's do more, and adjusts some combat perks to balance this. Also makes Master and Expert settings reduce the XP.gained multiplier. Then there is Disable Fast Travel Permanently by The Great and Powerful BaconCat (I use the Carriages cost 20x more option), which does just what it says, plus you can make carriages more expensive, because now they are more worth it. (Especially now that Bethesda has fixed the bug that prevented carriage travel when encumbered.) A mod that has a subtle but very immersive effect is Economics of Skyrim by Thomas Kaira. This mod changes what is available where, to make local products or resources cost less, and be more available at merchants. For example, Markarth should have cheaper Dwemer stuff, but Ebony things would be more expensive as there is no local supply. While the Sounds of Skyrim mods (SoS - The Dungeons, and SoS - The Wilds) are simply fantastic. More than once, I have found myself ready to swat at a fly buzzing in my player's ear. Hope these are along the lines of what you were asking for. Calen
