debbie23
Hello everyone, I want to purchase a premium membership but the only payment-method is Paypall. I do not not have a paypall account and I don't want to. Just a suggestion: add more payment methods. It makes it a lot easier to become Premium member. I saw there is also an option to pay with a credit card (ahummmm...).But I am not a famous plastic surgeon or CEO. Just have an average job (I am a teacher). So I do not have a credit card and I will never get one. Also I don't know a person who can help me among my collegues, friends or family who has a credit card. Nobody has a big salary, just average people. Just a suggestion. Best regards,Debbie Edited May 10, 2018 by debbie23
SirSalami
Hi there Debbie. Firstly, thank you for your consideration in supporting us! It's sincerely appreciated. As for payment methods, any prepaid card that bares one of the logos displayed on our payment page will likely work in this case. As seen here: Hope this is helpful! If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to private message me anytime.

debbie23
you can use a debit card as wellIs there a difference?I thought a debit card and credit card are the same. Just another word for the same. Excuse me, but after some reading I learned that in some countries (e.g. USA) almost everybody can have a credit card/debit card. Even if you have a louzy job.Thats not the case in most other countries.Debit card/Credit card. It sounds like a luxe to me.
DoctorKaizeld
Debit cards are bank cards that draw from your bank account
Thandal
Debit cards are bank cards that draw directly from your bank account ... Whereas using a "credit card" is taking a loan (you don't have to have any money in your account at that very moment) that the bank gives you until the payment is due. If you don't pay it all, they charge interest (often a LOT of interest) on the amount not paid.
debbie23
When I started this topic I could not know I started a discussion here. But okay, I contacted my bank asking about credit cards and debit cards. Both are not possible in my situation and are also not very custom to use here (I live in the Netherlands). To get a credit card you need a decent salary. Not that I have a bad salary, but what they called a decent salary is not what I have. I am just a teacher. So no credit card for me.The 'debit-card' does not exist here. We have a payment card but you can not pay online with that. For online-payments we have IDeal. As the name suggests it is the ideal payment-method: It is an instant bank-to-bank moneytransfer, no third party involved. Therefore it is secure and it does comply with our privacy-laws (no sensitive information is being shared with the merchant). We can use iDeal with a QR-code which is displayed at a website, using a smartphone with two-factor-authentication.( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDEAL )- Paypall is strongly discouraged in the Netherlands because their privacy-policy does not fully comply with our privacy-laws.- Prepaid-creditcards (sold at petrol stations and tobbaco-stores) are only sold for 50 or 100 euro's. And there seems some problems with the account-registration with this, so called, 'giftcards' so it is not 100% reliable. The only solution left is the old-fashion way: bank to bank transfer. The merchant receives the money within three workingdays. (I don't know if that is correct English, 'workingdays'? I mean the weekend-days does not count).Summarized:No Credit Card, no debit-card, no Paypall. This is not iDeal.
