Hi everyone, I know what everyones thinking "another thread about this, booo!" but I just want to clear some things up that I'm quite surprised that no one picked up on these earlier than this, and i'm quite surprised no one even mentioned it.

Now I don't want anyone to judge my mate.....as i've had a go at him myself, but he did bring up a good point and I even remember seeing this. These files have been in the game since before this "latest patch" even when 1.4 was around. My friend still had the 1.4 patch of skyrim, also the creation kit, whereas I have the latest patch etc...but seeing as I tried my hand at modding a good few months back I stumbled upon these files myself....by just simply loading up the skyrim.esm (even on my mates 1.4 patched without the update.esm) we were able to go and look at the animations, actor->random actor object->right-click->preview, and in there are the animations, now if you look you'll see all the chair_SnowElfPrinceDialogueA.hkx. I can provide screenshots if need be of this for evidence? Just I'm not sure how to prove the version to you unless I made be even do a video of going into the game then loading up the creation kit. Even the crossbow animations are there and an SneakCrossBow_Aim.hkx, SneakCrossBow_IdleDrawn.hkx, and SneakCrossBow_Release.hkx which were even missed out from the post about the animations.

And now i've just looked even that RF persons animations are there and also the paired feeding vampire animations. So....yeah.....just thought I would point this out to the community and I would like to hear your thoughts?

Edit: Seems what I can gather from all this is, that Bethesda originally already had these files done but didn't include them into the game upon release, seeing as they aren't allowed to give the modding community tools for editing animations etc....they didn't include the files but the creation kit already had the files registered in it or atleast the skyrim.esm did, leading me to think the files were already made. So seems this has been in the making since before 1.4.21, but i'm able to check any earlier patches.

Seems the new 1.5.26 patch includes these files now, and allows the engine to use the animations for them instead of just having it as a reference in the creation kit.

Edit: Video showing the references in the creation kit.

Umm...bethesda was planning the DLC by 1.4?

My guess is that whatever the DLC is, it was planned before the original release in November. It's marketing. Get the game out in time for Christmas sales, add the DLC to boost sales/interest at E3/summer break.

I would like to see someone make a youtube video, so I could see some of this content without having to unpack bsa.'s myself. This is not in any way because I don't believe you or anything like that, just curious to see something other than that "carrot dangle" pic. from Bethesda. And I don't currently have the tools installed, with no wish to go "online" mode in Steam because I've frozen Skyrim at patch 1.4.21 for now.

Right, I've got the patch that I have and seems I've frozen mine at 1.4.21 aswell which was released on 30th January 2012. And the files are there aswell, If you give me abit I can make a video and upload it to youtube for people to watch, I'll show me loading up the game show the version mine is at and then i'll open the skyrim.esm and show the files there. Would that be sufficient enough? Or would other like to see other examples?

I just wanted to see some of the content that's already accessible, instead of just hearing everyone talk about what they "think" is going to happen with the story progression.

Thats a video been posted on the first post showing how to view the files and also my skyrims current patch.

Thank you for the video. The only reason I asked, was I thought we would be able to see some of those animations working, so we could see them in action. Oh well, I'll just have to wait for it.

If i updated to the latest patch where the animations are present, then yes I would be able to show the animations being played. I'm tempted to update to show them, if you'd like I could show these animations being played?

I wouldn't want you to do all that, I prefer to play my Skyrim on patch 1.4.21 without the later bugs, until some of those get fixed, I would think you would too.

Bah, sadly even after updating I wasn't able to get it to show the animations through the creation kit, whether thats just me, I'm not sure.
