rockloeffel Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Hi folks, I havent been experiencing any problems with skyrim so far, but a few days ago i got something with "wettrigger script myholdposition has not been set" when loading a game. I have no idea why this continues to happen, because I did not change a thing on my laptop. It just happend. what I did so far:-tried other saved games-tried to load a new game-deinstalled the three little mods I use-installed the creation kit-checked google-staring at the skyrim logo on my desktop-checked for malware I hope some can help me out here :) greets ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Allamorte Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 If your using NMM, go to your user folder, show hidden folder if necessary and go to AppData/local/skyrim and open the file there called 'plugins' with notepad or whatever your preferred text editor is. check to make sure skyrim.esm is listed twice. if it is, delete the second entry and then launch skyrim from the launcher. DO NOT launch it through NMM since it will just undo what you did. This occurred to me, and this is what I did to fix it.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This occurred to me, and this is what I did to fix it.... thanks, this worked. however, it still gives me some info that the game lacks some data or so. it did that only for the first time, when i loaded it. so it may be gone, as well. thanks mate!
